 Day 1

Kovalam

Pick up from Kovalam Airport, transfer to hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

Day 2

Kovalam

After breakfast proceed for Kovalam city tour.

Kovalam: Kovalam is a small coastal town in the southern Indian state of Kerala, south of Thiruvananthapuram. At the southern end of Lighthouse Beach is a striped lighthouse with a viewing platform. Palm-backed beaches also include Hawa Beach and Samudra Beach.Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

Day 3

Kovalam – Alleppy -159 km aprx

After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Alleppy houseboat.

Alleppy: With the Arabian Sea in the west and a vast network of Lakes, Lagoons and freshwater rivers criss-crossing it, Alappuzha is a district immense natural beauty. This backwater country is home to diverse animal and bird life. By virtue of its proximity to the sea, the town has always enjoyed a unique place in the maritime history of Kerala. Today, Alappuzha is an important backwater destination attracting several thousand foreign tourists every year. Alappuzha is also famous for its boat races, beaches, marine products and coir industry. A singularity of this land is the region called “KUTTANAD” – a land of lush paddy fields referred to as the rice bowl of Kerala and one of the few places in the world where farming is done below sea level. Full day enjoy the backwater cruise through Vembanad Lake. Dinner in houseboat. Overnight journey to Kumarakom.

Day 4

Kumarakom

Breakfast at houseboat, then check out and transfer to Kumarakom and proceed for Kumarakom city tour.

Kumarakom: Kumarakom is a village on Vembanad Lake in the backwaters of Kerala, southern India. It’s laced with canals, where houseboats ply the waters. Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary is home to many species including cuckoos and Siberian storks. Nearby, the Bay Island Driftwood Museum displays wooden sculptures.

Day 5  

Kumarakom - Thekkady - 122 km aprx

After breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Thekkady. Evening is free for own.

Thekkady: Thekkady is the location of the Periyar National Park, which is an important tourist attraction in the Kerala state of India. Dinner and overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 6

Thekkady

Local sightseeing in and around Thekkady - Thekkady is one of the world's most fascinating wild life reserves, the Periyar wild life sanctuary spread across 777 Sq. KM. of which 360 Sq. KM is thick ever green forest. The Periyar wild life sanctuary was declared as a Tiger Reserve in 1978 noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wild life and scenic beauty. Optional activities – Boating at Periyar Lake, Spice Plantation visit, Bamboo Rafting, Trekking and Elephant Ride can be done on an extra cost. Overnight stay in Thekkady.

Day 7

Thekkady - Munnar - 92 k.m. aprx.

After breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Munnar. On arrival check into Hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 8

Munnar

After breakfast proceed for local sightseeing in and around Munnar - Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale. 1600 Meter above sea level. This hill station was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British government in South India. Sprawling Tea Plantation picture-book towns, winding lanes and holiday facility makes this a popular town. Local sightseeing of Munnar - visit Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake and Echo point. Afternoon proceed to Rajamalai were you can visit the rarest species known as "Nilgiri Tars". Dinner & overnight stay in Munnar.

Day 9

Munnar – Cochin – 150 k.m. aprx

After breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Cochin. Afternoon proceed for local sightseeing in and around Cochin - The commercial capital and most cosmopolitan city of Kerala, Cochin in Ernakulam is also known as “Queen of Arabian Sea” is one of the finest natural harbours in the World. This was one of the major centers for commerce and trade with British, Chinese, Portugese, Dutch etc. Sightseeing of Cochin – visit Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jewish Street, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Nets. Dinner & overnight stay in Cochin.

Day 10

Cochin - Departure: 

After breakfast check out from Hotel and drive to Cochin Airport for onward journey.
