Day 1: Paris 25th Dec 2024

Day 2: Paris Seine River cruise and The Eiffel tower 26th Dec 2024

Seine River cruise: The Bateaux-Mouches pier is located very close to the Pont de l’Alma on the Port de la Conférence. The boats depart from there and travel up the Seine towards Notre Dame de Paris, passing by the Louvre Museum, the Town Hall and the Conciergerie. The boat turns around near to the Arab World Institute. Passing via the Monnaie (Paris Mint), down a small arm of the Seine between the Ile de la Cité and the Left Bank, gives you a close-up view to admire the Cathedral of Notre Dame. The cruise continues alongside the Musée d’Orsay and the National Assembly towards the Eiffel Tower.

Day 6: Geneva - Full-Day Tour of Chamonix & Geneva City 30th Dec2024

Get to know the charms of Geneva and Chamonix on this guided tour of both cities. Cross the Swiss-French border and bask in the Alpine allure of Chamonix and the majestic Mont Blanc, then return to Geneva for a tour of its international culture and most iconic landmarks.

From Geneva, take a comfortable coach in the morning across the Swiss-French border to the commune of Chamonix. Set with the tremendous slopes of Mont Blanc as a backdrop, the French town was the host of the first Winter Olympics in 1924 and remains a popular sports destination. Spend leisure time perusing the town's quaint boutiques and cafes, and bask in lovely views of Mont Blanc, the highest mountain in the Alps at 15,776 feet (4,808 m).

In the afternoon, re-enter Switzerland for an insightful tour of Geneva. Your guide leads you past buildings where international conferences are held, explaining the city's global significance along the way. Visit iconic landmarks like the Jet d'Eau fountain, which shoots water 460 feet (140 m) into the air, and the beautiful Flower Clock, a functioning floral timepiece dedicated to the city's watchmakers. Get a taste of Geneva's past at the St. Pierre Cathedral as well before going back to your hotel.

 

Day 7: Geneva to Zermatt by train  31st Dec 2024

Day 8: Zermatt to St. Moritz by Glacier Express  1st Jan 2025

Billed as Europe's slowest express, the narrow-gauge Glacier Express links St Moritz in the Engadin skiing area and Zermatt at the foot of the Matterhorn, taking 7½ hours to cover just over 290 km (180 miles) at an average speed of 24 mph.

 

Day 9: St. Moritz to Lucerne by train  2nd Jan 2025

Day 10: Lucerne - Mount Titlis 3rd Jan 2025

Enjoy breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps from a revolving aerial cable car as it climbs to the summit of Mount Titlis. Here, you enter a winter wonderland covered in pristine snow and massive glaciers. Walk over Europe’s highest suspension bridge while marvelling at the incredible panoramic views.

Begin your day with a stroll down the flower-lined streets of Lucerne. Hop in the bus and sit back as you are carried through charming countryside to Valley Station in Engelberg. Enjoy 360-degree views of the Swiss Alps as your rotating cable car whisks you up to an elevation of nearly 10,000 feet (3,000 m).

Once you reach the top of Mount Titlis, you can choose from several equally exciting activities. Use your ticket to ride on the Ice Flyer which takes you above virgin snow and deep glacier crevasses. Or, if you’re feeling brave, you can walk across Europe’s highest suspension bridge—the Cliff Walk.

You also have time to visit the Ice Grotto where you can go inside of blue-walled glacial tunnels. If you’re hungry, grab a bite to eat at the mountaintop restaurant or just warm up with some Swiss hot chocolate on the sun terrace. Pick up a souvenir from the gift shop and a chocolate bar to savour on your journey back down the mountain.

Arrive in Engelberg and catch your bus back to Lucerne after a wonderful day in the Swiss Alps.

 

Day 11: Lucerne to Jungfrau Day Excursion 4th Jan 2025

After breakfast, you will leave for Jungfrau. The Jungfrau is part of the Jungfrau Region, which is a region of the Bernese Oberland, at the foot of the Bernese Alps. The Jungfrau Region consists of two valleys south of Interlaken: that of Grindelwald and that of Lauterbrunnen, both drained by the Lütschine. The Jungfrau Region is a kind of triangle connecting three towns; Interlaken, Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen.

 

Day 12: Lucerne to Zurich then Flight Back Home 5th Jan 2025

Transfer to Zurich after breakfast. From Zurich International Airport catch flight back home.
